Quick F.A.Q. about No.6

Cause there are many ppl asked me about No.6, and I could not follow all the questions anymore.
So here is a space for question/discussion about No.6, both anime and novel.
Feel free to ask your question or share your idea. I will come back to answer the question as much as I can ^^

About the novel

1. How many books were released?
++ 9 volumes (finished)  and one completed guidebook.

2. Where did I read them?
++ I bought and read them in Japanese.

3. How to find the novel in English version.
++ Sorry I do not know. I saw Taiwanese, Chinese, French translated version in Amazon but not any English version, but I thought there is someone translated them and shared in the websites or LJ communities.
(Do not ask me where. I do not know -w-; )

About Characters (profile from completed guidebook)

1. Nezumi
++ Height : 178 cm (<<< not only actor, but I bet Eve has to be a super model in West block,too!!! LOL）
++ Weight : 63 kg
++ Blood type : O
++ Nezumi in novel version has short hair, just long enough to cover his ears.

2. Shion
++ Height : 170 cm
++ Weight : 54 kg
++ Blood type : AB
++ Birthday : 7th September

About the story in novel

++ No.6 is not BL novel / anime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(sorry if this sounds stupid, but there are soooooooooooo many ppl asked me this -w-;; )

++ The relationship between Nezumi and Shion, if I have to name it, I will call it Pure Love (just my opinion though) Love without passion. Not like they are lovers or partner. They just know that they are so important to each other. Shion had never used the word love for Nezumi in the novel (and I guess he won't in anime too -w-; ) He said that he does not know either what this feeling is. As well as Nezumi, in the novel, there is no any part that show Nezumi's feeling toward Shion, just only his actions to show how much he did for Shion and how much he cared for Shion!!.

++ Inukashi is female. Implied from the scene in vol9  that Shion accidentally found that...Inukashi has breast! (vol9) Also it has not been mentioned in anime, but Inukashi adopted a child, and she acted so much like she has a mother's instinct -w-;;

Do the No.6 novels have illustrations in them like light novels?
++ No. There are two versions of the novel published in Japan. 1) Young adult literature version 児童書 (9 books/completed) and 2) Paperback book version 文庫(released till vol6 and not completed yet) None of them have illustration inside. Personally, I recommend you to buy the literature version, because the artwork is more beautiful and easier to read esp for the foreigners who do not get used to with Kanji.

I've seen many fanarts with Sion holding a gun in his hand.
Will he try to shoot someone or does he actually kill someone? Or were those fanarts pure fantasy? xD

++ Safu is dead. Shion could not help her from correctional facillity. So this might me the reason that some ppl thought it was bad ending. (vol8)

++ Actually the Kisei Hachi (parasite in Bees' form) was born from Elyurias'power to punish ppl in No.6

++ Nezumi and Shion succeeded to brake the wall of No.6 and calmed down Elyurias with Nezumi's singing.

++ Nezumi and Shion will not be together in the end of the novel, but Nezumi kissed Shion as a promise that they will meet again. (and OMG it was a deep kiss, not just the Oyasumi kiss in ep7!!!)

++ Shion did killed someone during the time he and Nezumi were in correctional facility. Nezumi gonna be shot by Rashi (the guy who came to arrest Shion in the ep2 /book 2) and Shion decided to shoot him to protect Nezumi. <<< this part make my heart hurt the most!!!
